As of late, I have introduced a podcast for topics inspired by the book. Like the Perspective Presentations series, it discusses topics that examine the construct of modern industrial society. There have been four episodes of the podcast so far. They are:
PODCAST 1: CONFLICT AND EVOLUTION
This is the podcast debut episode. In it, I discuss the purpose of conflict and the ability to engineer solutions through such conflict.
PODCAST 2: SOCIAL RELATIONS
After a strange encounter with an individual who claimed he was in a “weird place,” I decided to talk about today’s social relations and how people in modern times are more self-importantly distant and aloof than ever before, at least in industrial societies like the United States.
PODCAST 3: PERSONAL MOTIVATION
After watching a horrendous documentary about self-improvement, I wrote an article about it. That article led to this podcast where I critique the self-help and motivational movements.
PODCAST 4: SUCCESS
Following up on the previous podcast, I talk about the concept of success in modern industrial society. I do not talk about being successful or any of that, but rather why “success” exists at all instead of a system of well-being for everyone without destitution to be “successful” from.
… and that is the series so far. Have a listen, ponder the topics involved, and understand your perspectives on the matters discussed. Enjoy these and please be well today and always.
